2026 VFW Day of Service
Make your state stand out! We're kicking off 2026 VFW Day of Service, a nationwide community service effort, and we are counting on you to help make this year bigger and better. Please visit vfwdayofservice.org to learn more, check out helpful tools and resources — and most importantly — sign up!
Day of Service events should be scheduled during the month of May 2026 and Dashboard credit for “Day of Service Participation” will not be applied until after May 2026. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please contact Mark Herron at mherron@vfw.org.
127th National Convention – Reno, Nevada
As we plan for the 2026 National Convention, there is a new VMS Keychain for the 2026-27 Program year! ADJs/QMs will be able to pre-order their keychains and will be able to pick them up at the convention again this year. Notification and order forms will be emailed later next month. If your Department has an outstanding balance from last year, you will need to remedy that before you can pre-order for this year.

VFW Military Appreciation Program (MAP) Grant Funds
Be advised that the VFW MAP Grant is now closed for the remainder of the 2025-2026 program year. Funds have been depleted. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please contact us at M.A.P@vfw.org or 816.756.3390 ext. 6287.
VMS Donations for All-American
Donating to the VMS Program can only be done via the Dashboard by going to the link “VMS Donation” at the upper right-hand corner of the screen. For the 2025-2026 Program year, your $125 or more donation to VMS Programs meets the eligibility criteria for All-American in this category. Donations must be received by June 30, 2026, to make All-American.
When you make your $125.00 donation, all that needs to be entered into the box is 125. No $ and no .00 is required in the donation amount box.
PLEASE DO NOT USE THE RED/WHITE DONATE LINK IN THE UPPER RIGHTHAND CORNER OF THE VETERANS & MILITARY SUPPORT PROGRAM TOOLS. THIS LINK GOES TO THE GENERAL DONATION PAGE AND WILL NOT BE CREDITED AS A VMS DONATION.
2025-2026 VMS Lapel Pins
If your Department purchased the 2025-2026 VMS Lapel Pins and have not paid for them yet, please use the VFW All-American Eligible Dashboard and the VMS Donation link to pay for them. We will be checking the Dashboard each month to reconcile requests and payments.
