Veterans & Military Support Program Tools

The Veterans & Military Support program plays a vital role in our organization. In many cases, our VFW programs are the first introduction a service member or veteran has with the organization. This program is both important, and multi-faceted.

To help, we've compiled the forms and reports you use most frequently in one place.

To download the report or file, simply click the file name below. If you run into any issues or can't find what you're looking for, don't hesitate to contact Mark Herron, Assistant Director, Veterans & Military Support (Programs), at MHerron@vfw.org.

127th National Convention – Reno, NV

As we continue to plan for the 2026 National Convention, there is a new VMS Keychain for the 2026-27 Program year! ADJs/QMs will be able to pre-order their keychains and will be able to pick them up at convention again this year. Notifications and order forms have been emailed out. If your Department has an outstanding balance from last year, you will need to remedy that before you can pre-order for this year. The Programs booth will be in Hall # 3, booth 313. The VFW Town Hall meeting will take place on Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. Location of this meeting can be found in the VFW Events app.

VMS Donations for All-American

The 2025-2026 Program Year closed 06/30/2026. The 2026-2027 Program Year opens 07/01/2026.

Updates to VMS regarding the 2026-2027 Program Year will be discussed at the 127th VFW National Convention Programs Town Hall Meeting Sunday, July 26, 2026.

Donating to NVS (no longer referred to as VMS) and DPAA (new for 2026-2027) can only be done via the Dashboard by going to the link “NVS Donation” at the upper right-hand corner of the screen. For the 2026-2027 Program Year, your $125 or more donation to NVS meets the eligibility criteria for All-American in this category. Your $75 donation or more to DPAA meets the eligibility criteria for All-American in this category. Donations must be received by June 30, 2027, to make All-American.

When you make your donation for either category, all that needs to be entered into the box is 125 for NVS or 75 for DPAA. No $ and no .00 are required in the donation amount box.

PLEASE DO NOT USE ANY OF THE RED/WHITE DONATE LINK IN THE UPPER RIGHTHAND CORNER OF ANY WEBPAGE.  THIS LINK GOES TO THE GENERAL DONATION PAGE AND WILL NOT BE CREDITED AS A NVS/DPAA DONATION.

Continue to do what you are doing and thank you for your support!
