Thanksgiving Greetings from the VFW

Take time to reflect on all we have to be thankful for

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – While this year’s Thanksgiving Day may not be spent surrounded by family and loved ones as we’ve grown so accustomed to, it remains a day rooted in unique traditions and recipes, and still offers us all a time to express our gratitude and appreciation for the blessings in our lives.

Give Thanks message on an orange pumpkin

As we take time to celebrate this year, the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) reminds every American to take a moment and give thanks for the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces. They spend countless holidays away from family, serving in harm’s way, and it’s their continued service and sacrifice which allows us this very opportunity.

Happy Thanksgiving!
