We want to provide every opportunity for our service members and veterans to succeed in their careers, and working on a large-scale hiring initiative with a company that truly appreciates the skillsets and dedication that our veterans possess certainly provides a great one.”

The event is the VFW’s latest endeavor in its efforts to foster career success among veterans and ensure a successful transition after separating from military service.

Cerner currently employs hundreds of current and former service members.

“Cerner is committed to veterans who have selflessly served our country and we recognize the value they bring to this company,” said Zane Burke, president, Cerner. “It is the right and smart thing to do for these talented, motivated and dedicated men and women. They have the skills to make a difference in the health care industry.”
