Commander-in-Chief John A. Biedrzycki

John A. Biedrzycki Jr. was elected Commander-in-Chief of the Veterans of Foreign Wars on July 22, 2015, at the VFW’s 116th National Convention, held in Pittsburgh, Pa. 

 

Mr. Biedrzycki served in the U. S. Army from 1967-1970. He served in Korea as a pay distribution specialist with the 7th Infantry Division.  His decorations include the National Defense Service Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal and Korean Defense Medal.

Senior Vice Commander-in-Chief Brian J. Duffy

Brian J. Duffy was elected Senior Vice Commander-in-Chief of the Veterans of Foreign Wars on July 22, 2015, at the VFW’s 116th National Convention, held in Pittsburgh, Pa.

 

Brian served in the U.S. Air Force as a jet engine mechanic on F-4 "Phantom" fighter aircraft, and later transitioned and served as a flight engineer on the C-141 "Starlifter" transport aircraft.

Junior Vice Commander-in-Chief Keith E. Harman

Keith E. Harman was elected Junior Vice Commander-in-Chief of the Veterans of Foreign Wars on July 22, 2015, at the VFW’s 116th National Convention, held in Pittsburgh, Pa.  

 

Mr. Harman served in the U. S. Army from 1967-1969. He served in Vietnam as a crew chief and door gunner on Huey helicopters.  His decorations include the Air Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with two bronze service stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm Unit Citations, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal and the Aircraft Crewmember Badge. 

 

National Council of Administration

The VFW National Council of Administration is comprised of elected National Officers, the Adjutant General, Chief of Staff and Inspector General. Collectively, the Council is responsible for administering the affairs and transacting the business of the VFW in the intervals between annual VFW National Conventions.
