Mobile Recruiter App - Instructions
To download the Mobile Recruiter App, simply visit the App Store for iPhone or Google Play Store for Android devices and search for VFW Mobile.
Members now have the availability to transmit New Member Prospect information directly to any Post who’s Quartermaster has an active OMS account.
*Please note: It is the Post’s responsibility to collect payment. The information being submitted to the Post is prospect information only.
Here is how the process works:
Quartermasters with an OMS account will have a new option under Quartermaster Services, called New Member Prospects.
Once a New Member Prospect has been submitted to the Post, they will appear in the Post Quartermasters New Member Prospect Queue.
Once the New Member Prospect has been submitted, the following process will ensure the Prospect is contacted in a timely manner:
New Member Prospects submitted from the Mobile Recruiter App will first go into a Post Quartermaster Queue.
A daily email will be sent to each Post Quartermaster detailing the number of prospects and the length of time each prospect has spent in their queue (See email text below)
A weekly report will be sent to each Department Quartermaster informing them of which Posts have prospects in their Post Queue.
After 15 days, prospects will continue to display in the Post Queue but will also be viewable in the Department Queue.
A daily email will be sent to each Department Quartermaster only if there are prospects in the Department Queue.
Finally, after 21 days total, prospects will continue to display in the Post and Department Queues but will also appear on a list viewable by the National Membership Director so that the appropriate action can be taken.
