KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) celebrates the invaluable contributions our Hispanic Americans have made in our military as we honor Hispanic Heritage Month.
“Our Hispanic service members, veterans and families are an essential part of the VFW family,” said VFW National Commander Harold “Hal” Roesch II. “Their selflessness, commitment to service and sacrifice to uphold the constitution continues to help our nation maintain the strongest and most-dominant military in the world and we salute all Hispanic American service members, veterans and their families.”
For generations, Hispanic Americans have fought fervently to protect and defend our great nation. The contributions of our Hispanic Americans continue to be extremely instrumental in the betterment and success of the United States and relations with our allies.
