KANSAS CITY, Mo. – With the 2016 VFW Legislative Conference only days away, the VFW has designed a new mobile app to give attendees the tools needed to make the most of their visit to our nation’s capital. As the official guide to the 2016 VFW Legislative Conference, the VFW DC 2016 mobile app is available for download at both the App Store and the Google Play Store.
The new app ensures attendees will receive important notifications and reminders throughout the conference, have instant access to the daily agenda, the opportunity to connect with other attendees and more. The app also offers a complete legislative directory to make locating and communicating with legislative representatives easy.
If you’re planning to attend the conference, help the VFW promote our fight FOR VETERANS by posting to social media about your visit with your Congressional representatives! Simply snap a photo of your meeting and post it to Twitter and/or Facebook using #VFWDC2016. Remember to show your appreciation to your representatives by tagging them in your post. Each representative’s handle can be accessed in the app’s legislative directory.
