Attention High School Students: Enter VFW's Voice of Democracy Competition

VFW has supported the education of our country’s most promising and talented students with impressive scholarships for more than 60 years.

We’re excited to announce that now is the time to submit an audio-essay for VFW’s Voice of Democracy scholarship competition, open to students in grades 9-12.

This year’s theme: “Is Our Constitution Still Relevant?”

The national first-place winner receives a $30,000 scholarship paid directly to the recipient’s American university, college or vocational/technical school. Other national scholarships range from $1,000- $16,000, and the first-place winner from each (State) VFW Department wins an all-expense-paid trip to Washington, D.C.

Hurry, the deadline to submit an entry to VFW Posts is November 1.
