Radiothon to Benefit VFW Unmet Needs

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Veteran radio personality, G. Gordon Liddy, has generously opened up the airwaves of his nationally syndicated radio program this Friday in support of VFW’s Unmet Needs program.

G. Gordon Liddy of Radio America Network will host the Unmet Needs Radiothon, May 22, 2009, during the live broadcast of the G. Gordon Liddy Show, airing from 10:00a.m. to 1:00p.m. (EST).

The Unmet Needs program provides critical financial assistance needed by service members and their families who are having severe difficulty making ends meet, especially during a time of deployment.

“We are extremely grateful to G. Gordon Liddy and Radio America for the opportunity to participate in this extremely important event. Be assured that the generosity of Mr. Liddy’s wonderful audience will greatly help us to return the favor to our brave troops abroad and their families back home in the U.S. who have often personally sacrificed so much for us all,” said Daniel M. Shea, Director of the VFW Foundation.
