Veterans who paid Trajector Medical, LLC, formerly known as Vet Comp & Pen Medical Consulting, LLC, for assistance obtaining or increasing their Department of Veterans Affairs disability benefits may have claims in Trajector’s pending bankruptcy and should act promptly to protect their rights. The Bankruptcy Court initially established Oct. 1, 2026, as the General Claims Bar Date. The Bankruptcy Court granted an extension of that deadline to Oct. 31, 2026.
On July 23, 2026, Trajector Medical, LLC, and affiliated companies filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida, Jacksonville Division. The cases are jointly administered under In re: Trajector Holdings, LLC, Case No. 3:26-bk-03286-JAB.
Veterans Who Paid Trajector Medical May Have Claims
Veterans who paid Trajector Medical for services related to obtaining or increasing VA disability benefits may have claims against Trajector Medical arising from those payments. This may include veterans who previously knew the company as Vet Comp & Pen Medical Consulting.
A Proof of Claim is the document through which a veteran formally asserts a claim for money against Trajector Medical or another Trajector debtor. The bankruptcy filings indicate that approximately 180,000 disabled veterans and/or others receiving disability benefits may have potential claims against the Trajector bankruptcy estates.
Filing a Proof of Claim Will Not Cause Veterans to Lose Their VA Disability Benefits
Veterans should not be concerned that asserting a claim against Trajector Medical will cause them to lose their VA disability compensation.
Filing a Proof of Claim in Trajector’s bankruptcy, by itself, does not cancel, reduce, or otherwise alter a veteran’s entitlement to VA disability benefits. The Proof of Claim simply asserts that the veteran may be owed money by Trajector Medical or another Trajector debtor. It does not seek to reopen or change the veteran’s VA disability rating or underlying VA benefits award.
Veterans Who Have Not Filed Should Act Immediately
The Bankruptcy Court initially established Oct. 1, 2026, as the General Claims Bar Date. The parties agreed to a proposed thirty-day extension through Oct. 31, 2026, which was approved by the Bankruptcy Court. Veterans who have not yet submitted Proof of Claim should act promptly. No claims will be accepted after Oct. 31. Proofs of Claim may be submitted electronically through the Court-authorized bankruptcy claims administrator:

The official bankruptcy notice also permits claims to be submitted to the Trajector Claims Processing Center, c/o KCC dba Verita, 222 N. Pacific Coast Highway, Suite 300, El Segundo, California 90245. The claims administrator may be reached at 888.249.2695 in the United States and Canada. Mailed claims must be received by the applicable deadline; mailing by that date is not sufficient.
Veterans should not assume that Trajector’s possession of their records, an outstanding balance Trajector contends is owed to it, or involvement in other litigation automatically protects their rights in the bankruptcy. Filing a Proof of Claim does not guarantee any recovery, but failing to file a required claim may affect a veteran’s ability to recover from the Trajector bankruptcy estates. Follow the filing instructions for protecting personal information and avoid attaching unnecessary medical records.
Important Legal Disclaimer
This press release is provided for general informational purposes only and is not individualized legal advice. Whether a particular veteran has a claim, which Trajector entity is responsible for that claim, the amount of any claim, and whether a Proof of Claim is timely or otherwise valid depend on the veteran’s individual circumstances and applicable orders of the Bankruptcy Court. Nothing in this release guarantees that any claim will be allowed or that any claimant will receive a recovery. Veterans with questions about their individual rights should consult qualified legal counsel. Filing a Proof of Claim in the Trajector bankruptcy does not, by itself, affect a veteran’s entitlement to VA disability compensation.
