Season’s Greetings from the VFW

Remember our nation’s sons and daughters serving overseas during the holidays

WASHINGTON — The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) extends a heartfelt season’s greetings to everyone, especially to the thousands of service members and their families who are apart during the holidays. Because of their sacrifice, our nation remains safe, secure and free. Let us keep a candle lit in our minds and hearts for them while we enjoy togetherness and celebrate this festive time of year.

“I want you to have a joyous season,” said VFW National Commander Fritz Mihelcic. “Spend this time with your family and friends, take care of each other, be thankful for what you have, and when we turn the calendar and start the next year, look forward to it. I wish you a peaceful Christmas and happy holidays.”

From the entire VFW family, may all your days from now until the New Year be merry and bright.
