KANSAS CITY, Mo. – With 2020 drawing to a close, the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) extends its warmest wishes for a peaceful holiday season to all of our nation’s veterans, service members, and their families and advocates.
This holiday season may not encompass the togetherness and traditions of years past, but no matter how you celebrate this holiday season, the VFW encourages every American to pause and remember the thousands of soldiers, sailors, airmen, Marines and Coast Guardsmen who are bravely serving all over the world, spending this special time away from their families and loved ones.
Today, and every day, we remain thankful for their service. It’s because of their selflessness that we’re able to celebrate from the comfort and safety of our own homes.
