By direction of VFW Adjutant General John Hamilton, VFW national staff has reached out to the VFW state offices in states that have been impacted by recent catastrophic weather-related events apprising them again of the National Disaster Relief Fund matching fund process that is in place.
As outlined in the National Disaster Relief Fund policy, we will match funds contributed by members of the VFW and Auxiliary and from Posts or Auxiliaries in the Department in which the disaster occurred. As always, your VFW National headquarters is standing by to assist when and where needed.
