As we kick off 2017, it’s important to remember that the VFW’s work is never done. We must use the motivation that comes with a new year to ensure we accomplish all of our goals in 2017.
Now is the time to get involved. Go out into your community to tell them what the VFW does and why our mission is so important. Encourage your Post to spearhead a community service project, or visit with your local Student Veterans of America chapter.
Make this year, the year of making a difference. Arm yourself with our 2017 Priority Goals, and then contact your state’s representatives in the new 115th Congress to voice your concerns over budget cuts and failing military support.
Your service to our nation proves you’re not one who just sits on the sidelines while others do the work. You get the job done. You’re the reason the VFW can proudly proclaim “NO ONE DOES MORE FOR VETERANS!”
Respectfully,
Your VFW Membership Team
