VFW DISPATCH – January 2015

h_border

A new year is a time for fresh starts and lofty goals. With so many New Year’s resolutions easily broken or quickly forgotten, make your resolution count.

Make a resolution to get involved. Go out into your community to tell them what the VFW does and why our mission is so important.

Decide to make a difference. Help a struggling veteran get in touch with a VFW Service Officer.

Be determined to reach out. Encourage your Post to find a local Student Veterans of America (SVA) chapter and start building a relationship.

Stand up and let your voice be heard. Contact your state’s representatives in the new 114th Congress to voice your concerns over budget cuts and failing military support.

Your service to our nation proves you’re not one who just sits on the sidelines while others do the work. You get the job done. This year is the time to help the VFW and take action.

Respectfully,

Your VFW Membership Team
