VFW DISPATCH – February 2015

h_border

The moment you put on the uniform, you earned the respect of every single American for the rest of your life. After all, you deserve it!

Congress too easily forgets this. So on March 1-5, VFW leaders from across the nation will unite on Capitol Hill during the annual VFW Legislative Conference. Your VFW leaders will meet with congressional representatives to remind them of the promises they made to you. They’ll remind them that sequestration must end and that reduced benefits and retirement pay should NEVER be on the chopping block!

The VFW will be streaming live so you don’t miss a thing! Log on to www.vfw.org the evening of March 2, for the Voice of Democracy Parade of Winners. And on Wednesday afternoon, don’t miss the VFW National Commander deliver important testimony on behalf of veterans before a joint hearing of the House and Senate Veterans Affairs Committees.

Look for #VFWHill2015 on Facebook and Twitter, and check www.vfw.org regularly and for all the latest legislative conference news beginning March 2.

Respectfully,
