In
honor of our nation’s heroes, the VFW is working with Tractor Supply Company
(TSC) to make this year’s Memorial Day a community event across the nation!
TSC, the largest farm and ranch store chain in the United States, is partnering
with local VFW Posts to express their appreciation of the sacrifices made by
service members and veterans through community involvement.
VFW members will host events onsite at TSC stores
throughout the country to honor our fallen heroes and showcase their
patriotism. Events may vary at each location, ranging from BBQs
to Color Guard Ceremonies and Memorial Day displays.
In
conjunction with the VFW events, TSC is also hosting its “Salute Our Troops”
program, giving customers and guests the opportunity to write “Thank You”
letters to active duty service members for their service and sacrifices.
All community members are invited to stop
by their local TSC stores to participate in the Memorial Day Event and can look
forward to learning about the history and importance of Memorial Day with their
local VFW and TSC store.
