VFW National Commander Brian Duffy recently stopped by the Spring Hill, Tenn., Sport Clips which raised almost $18,000 during last year's Help A Hero campaign, supporting college scholarships for active duty U.S. service members and veterans. While there, Commander Duffy made sure to get the full MVP haircut experience!

This year's Vander Clute Memorial Motorcycle Riders raised over $47,000 for VFW programs! The riders presented a donation to VFW Commander-in-Chief John A. Biedrzycki upon their arrival in Charlotte this morning.
On June 30, 2016, on behalf of the VFW, National Commander John A. Biedrzycki Jr., paid respect to South Korea’s fallen veterans at the Seoul National Cemetery.
VFW National Commander John A. Biedrzycki was presented with a Medal of Honor from Lee Shying-jow, the minister of the Veterans Affairs Council, Republic of China.
Members of VFW Post 4176 in Montgomery, Ala., presented a $30,000 check to Air Force Enlisted Heritage Research Institute Director CMSgt Emily Shade on May 25, 2016. The donation will be used to help pay for the expansion of the Enlisted Heritage Hall, the Air Force’s only museum dedicated to showcasing and preserving the history of its enlisted men and women. Pennsylvania Army National Guardsmen from Detachment 1, C. Company 2-104th Aviation proudly display a VFW flag that has flown multiple MEDVAC missions with the crew. Based out of Johnstown, Pa., the service members are currently deployed to Camp Taji, Iraq, in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.
